To My Not-So-Romantic Valentine!

Sometimes I just close my eyes and thank God for sending me a tall dark and handsome angel. Looking back I never had thought that a "right swipe" would change my life entirely. From being strangers to being soulmates this journey has been a blissful roller coaster ride. Your love has been magic that filled my life with joy. When I  tell you, I love you I don’t say it out of habit or to make a conversation. I say it to remind you that you are the best thing that ever happened to me. And as always you would have a question in mind: “How am I the best thing?”.So here is the answer to all your doubts: 1] Although it's raining, you are my sunshine “You are my Constant. You are my Resonance. You are my Equilibrium. You are my Balance.  When my hopes are down. And my heart is in agony. You smoothen out a symphony. Out of this crass cacophony” Being around you brings me peace and comfort. The first time our eyes met, I wasn’t anxious or nervous about meeting som...

Groundwork Of An Interview -Part II

1] On The Day of Interview : Ensure you are punctual. Reaching the venue 10 mins prior to the scheduled time would not only help you make a  good first impression but also will help you get acquainted with the new environment and clam your mind. Being hydrated is another important thing to keep in mind. Interviews might take a lot of time and you need to be best on the interview day. 2] During the interview Be calm. An interview isn’t a place to decide whether you want to get into the organization so keep those thoughts on hold till after the interview. Don't shy away from accepting your lack of knowledge about any topic this would save you any future embarrassment. Ensure to be pleasant but not timid, confident but not rude 2] After the interview Wait patiently for the response. There are a few hidden indications of responses.“We will get back to you”  or “You can leave for the day” are generally indications of a negative response. So don’t hold on to hopes. But do no...

Groundwork Of An Interview

Want to take a leap in career but not sure where to start? There are a number of steps you can take before (and after) the interview to ensure that you make a terrific impression on your potential employer. Let’s go through the "before" steps together. Step 1: Pre- Preparation Analysis Self - analysis is very crucial in deciding the preparation strategy. The two key elements in this process are: I] Time span: if you have ample time to prepare, I would recommend understanding every topic compressively. Just in case, you are running out of time, you must avoid getting deep understanding of a few topics and try to cover all the paramount topics. II] Learning Pace: Learning pace is a relative term and varies according to individuals. Time and Pace go hand-in-hand for planning out preparation strategy. Step 2:  Determining the Aim and Objective This step is like a pre-workout meal. If you skip it you will be able to achieve a result but not the best one. Under...

The Day I Lost A Person Full Of Unconditional Love - My Grandfather

It was the hardest day of my life. My heart sank to the stomach and I was at loss for words. All I could do was cry. It’s true when they say that a phone call can change your entire life in just seconds. 17 September 2019 - a day l will never forget. It was a day that my world became less bright, less fun, and less right. My heart ached. My vision blurred. The only thing going on in my mind was - I’ve never lived in a world where he didn’t exist. I’ve never lived in a world where he did not draw breath.          1 year has passed since then.   These days, I must learn how to overcome the kind of pain that all of us must go through: the death of someone we love.   I still remember, how he used to get me a khare shengdana every day after school. How he used to tell me stories before dinner. How he used to laugh on my lame jokes. And then I remember his body has now turned into ashes. That smile along with his photo has now ...

Forgive but don’t Forget

After every heartbreak, I ask myself - Revenge or Forgiveness? The answer to this is very simple - Forgive but don’t Forget! Now you would say - Easier said than done. You are right, forgiving someone is difficult especially if the heart was involved in it. But always remember, your past is your greatest teacher. It’s up to you to become its greatest student. To learn, you need to forgive without forgetting. Forgiving the person means letting go of the bitterness inside you. No matter how deeply you are hurt, you will heal. Always remember it's their loss, not yours. They lost someone who cared deeply for them, whereas you lost someone who was eventually going to hurt you. ( iss mein tera ghata mera kuch nahi jata :D ). Wish best for them and move on. I’m not saying you should not feel the hurt or mask it. Getting in touch with your emotions is a necessary step for healing. But once healed, let go of the person. Caging them in mind is going to increase your hurt or hatred, which...
